Why is a Raven Like a Writing Desk?

It appears as though I've only been ranting these days. I feel bad about that, I apologize to all of my loving readers.
I haven't had a headache in a few months but I can feel one starting to rise these past couple of days; it might be the stress, or the heat. I'm compelled to think it's the latter.
I seem to also be running low on inspirational materials, and as my best friend's criticisms are no more than simple ones [which I find nothing wrong with] I find myself in dire need of some kind of Q and A session. I often find it's easier, for me at least, to form my ideas into stories [coherently--with a storyline] when I have to explain it to someone.
Liz is usually really good about having me tell her what's going to happen next, but as of late our relationship has shifted, it's focal points lying somewhere far away. I don't mind though, true friends are very hard to come by, and I'm glad I have as many as I do.
I was at Jose's house this evening from midnight to four am. I was under the impression, upon first receiving a text from him, that we'd be brainstorming for The 48 Hours Film Festival, I was wrong. We ended up going to MoVal and playing Dominoes, I was the fifth person there [dominoes is a game for only four people--no more, no less]. But fortunately, Special K was showing off the annotated version of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass" that she bought for Jose. For those of you unaware, those two books are my favorite of all books. I believe they are perfect, in every aspect of the word. Lewis Carroll was a god of words, I want to learn puns and use them the way he does.
In fact, I believe that that might have some relevance to the reason I've been feeling dull as of late. After reading "New Moon" I was excited to begin reading the highly renowned "The Metamorphosis" Franz Kafka. I hoped that it would give me some well needed inspiration; again I was wrong. It was a good story, however. I can see why it is as popular as it is, but inspiring--at the present moment--no.
I also began "Pride and Prejudice" today. That book is something else, I enjoy it. It's a little hard trying to understand the language but if I can read "A Clockwork Orange" I can read anything. That reminds me, I need to by myself a new copy of that book, I let someone borrow mine and they moved stores and quit working for CVS.
I digress.
I was at Jose's, while he, Special K, Will, and Kim Je-Min played Dominoes. We were there for four hours and for three of those I was completely enveloped in the book I was reading. I don't know if anyone except the people there this evening [and even them for that matter] know how much I adore that story. It's been so long since I've read it, I think I should start again.
I've been feeling really tired as of late. I think I need to rest, that might also help me to become inspired again.
I find little inspiration from movies anymore, I think I've burnt myself out, and have transitioned to reading, which I enjoy. It's also a good thing, I've still a dozen books in my library I've never read, and if this fit keeps up, I'll soon be able to read them all.
Liz will be up in a few minutes, I'll probably end up sleeping through most of her shift, until [like always] it becomes too hot for me to bear anymore, and then I'll drag myself out of bed and begin my day.
Alright I keep yawning and can hardly keep my eyes open anymore.
Sweet dreams everyone. If I'm feeling better after waking, I'll try to post a chapter of something.

Glad I found the book and that it brings such joy to someone, lol. You should borrow it from Jose and read the whole thing. I know he says he read it all, but I somehow doubt he actually read most of those side notes (which is why I bought it in the first place...) Oh well. I shoulda just let you take it home with you last night. Ehh... I'm sure that won't be our last encounter.
