My enemy was strong and fierce. She destroyed me before I even had time to notice. She sped through one and a half books before I read one hundred pages.
She's some kind of monster.
A Super Freak, if you will.
I will be taking a break from posting for a few days, I hope to finish "New Moon" by Saturday and will begin story-telling again, after I'm done.
I will soon be finishing "Customer Service:The Slow Downfall of Happiness" and "Strangers Wearing Makeup" and beginning "Rejected".
Not sure if I should start another story alongside "Rejected", but we'll all see on what I decide in the next few days.
Even though I watched "Bruno" and laughed hysterically, a feeling of woe has come over me. My sluggish reading abilities are to be looked upon as impotent and weak. All in all, I believe I gave Liz a little bit of a rush, even though we both knew I didn't have a snowball's chance in hell of beating her in a reading race.
The next bet, where she decides the rules [I think she wants like a time attack deal, where we can only read for certain hours of the day, which will have to be mapped out with accordance to our work schedules] should be more interesting. I want the wagers to be bigger and more of something to fight for, or fight against...if you dig it.
I'm still a little pissed I have to buy that fucking Autobiography, only because I know this bitch is going to ask me to read it. The things I do for my best friend.
It's not like "Tokyo!" was even THAT big of a deal! I'll just buy it myself in a few weeks anyway!!
Okay, Liz...since I know you're reading this, here are my rules for reading that Miley Cirus [However it's spelled] Autobiography:
1.) I'm reading three books; "The Metamorphosis", "Pride and Prejudice", and "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" before I even consider reading it.Those seem fair, right?
2.) I'm not going to be the first one of us to read that shit.
3.) I'm not going to use that as my book for our next bet.
and
4.) You have to finish "Breathers" before I start that one.
I just came up with a great idea for the next bet.
We choose the book(s) the other should read [excluding the above mentioned atrocity].
But damn! I'd want you to read "The Fountainhead" the only problem is, I want to read it first!
Ugh, I'm getting delusional...I need to finish "New Moon", I'm on page 445--out of 563--and I'm starting to feel tired.
Well, it was still fun, I enjoyed it, even though I lost...and well umm yeah.
Have a beautiful day.
