Let Me Come Inside

The craving that slumbers deep below,
Calls out to you,
It can hear the monster inside you,
Beckoning it to come,
It wants to come inside,
And be wrapped in the embrace,
With every word the mouth starts to water,
And the eyes roll back,
Longing to see what they had wished for for so long,
A unity.

The echoing voice,
Repeats, repeats, repeats,
It is matched,
Like the two monsters' hunger,
An even fight,
Full satisfaction,
A four course meal--served daily,
Which serving is your favorite?
The words make my mouth water,
And fill me with hope.

Now take a pin and pop the balloon of delusion.
