A Simple Thank You

A simple thank isn't enough,
it never is, isn't it?
And I know "I'm sorry",
won't do the whole thing justice.

But thank you,
tonight you showed me,
something I was looking for,
a certain peace-of-mind.

And I'm sorry,
to all of you,
the change was too abrupt,
and far too harsh.

I can finally say,
now I've seen something new.
A something I've been waiting to see,
for a long long while.
And even though there's more work to do,
I'm willing to give it a shot.

The transition has begun, I can see that now, Liz.
