Brainstorms

This is all really new for me, the whole idea of doing it as both a story AND a comic. So here are some of my brainstorms for the story and just a few sketches (in ink) of the cover.
I'll post more as they come to me, but don't worry friends; I'll meet the Sunday deadline.

Yeah, ever since I learned how to use the scanners at my school I've been using them any chance I get. Don't worry if you can't read my handwriting, few people can. You'll soon be reading it in nice (what is this Times New Roman?) printed letters.
I'll try and do some digital stuff soon, I even sent some questions to a Korean webcomic artist for tips oh, yeah and I go to art school that could always be a way to get some help.

Another

So since I have some time to kill until the last shuttle from school arrives I figured I could finally work on Trapped, and so I will. I have to say, now that I finished my homework on time (even though I was rushing to get it done on time) I feel a lot better than I have for the week.
With this new found relaxation I hope something productive will happen. Maybe a short story? Wait, let's finish the things we've already started, Jestro. Okay, now I'm just talking to myself.
But wait, there's more!
I finally asked my teachers for advice for Trapped, the comic. Who would have thought that professors at an art school would have such great advice! But it makes me so angry how Steve Hampton can draw two lines and they have so much to say! So much more than my lines do, anyway. Now some people might have felt discouraged by having their skills juxtaposed to a professional's, but I'm not one of those people. I was inspired, I'll be on that level one day!
As you probably saw below, I drew a shitty rough using Photoshop on the first panel of Trapped, the comic. It was mainly just to get more practice with the Wacom tablet and to post something other than movies, which I'm three weeks behind on, don't worry--x-mas break sounds like a great time to catch up.
I do want to sleep though. It pains me to admit that but regardless of how productive my fourteen hour school day has been, I'm still hungry and exhausted. But I should really get used to this kind of lifestyle since that's what I'm told artists endure constantly.
Sometime next week I'll use one of the scanners at school and post some of my real hand drawn sketches and roughs on here. I'll be waiting for your feedback, everybody!

Wagawagawagawagawagawagawagawagawaga!

I am exhausted yet again. Blah, blah blah. I should sleep or eat more, maybe watch less movies. I should probably buy a computer so I don't have to take epic trips all over town to get to school just to go on posemaniacs.com then only draw about thirty figures and call it a day.
Its just exhausting. I really need a break, like one that's longer than a week. The end of the year can't come soon enough. Oh, yeah. Remind me to do my Image Manipulation homework tomorrow. If I wasn't so hungry I'd probably stay here for another four hours, but I'm already getting a headache so I'll just use all my energy tomorrow.
I just felt that I should put this online, so in the event of my untimely death, you all know how tired I've been. And THAT'S why I can't work on the "Trapped" comic, I'm stuck in that part of the quarter where you don't want to do a damn thing. I should be a little bit better in a few hours.
On a much lighter note, I started listening to a band called The Receiving End of Sirens, they're amazing. You should all listen to them.

Here's something new

The above is an image from my brain, well a crude rendition of what's in my brain. As my painting skills increase and so do my digital crafstmanship I'll redo this image. This is the seed for a new story I want to start writing, I have little more than this image, and no its no Strangers Wearing Makeup, but the dude is a clown. Not to be creepy, but for the colors, notice how much I used the smudge tool? Anyhow, I'll post more as it unfolds, this is exciting and new everybody, hope you'll all enjoy it.
