I live in a fifteen mile cube.
The southern most point, to the northern most point -- fifteen miles.
The most western to the most eastern, fifteen miles.
The spot with the lowest elevation, to the highest...
Fifteen miles.
Like I said, I live in a fifteen mile cube.
We have a small city, the people who live in this cube with me. We border six other cubes, just our size. Imagine it like countries, only each one is exactly the same size.
Some cubes have only one season, some have five. Mine has four. There's only one city in ours, its small almost like a hick town, without the inbreeding. None of us know why we live in cubes, but we've all heard stories.
One particular story comes to mind;
Its about a man searching for his soul mate, all the while battling himself and the world around him -- people too.
Before I begin the story, there are a few more things you need to know about our world.
We live in cubes.
No one is sure how many cubes there are.
No one knows how to break through the walls, floor, or ceiling of the cubes. The only way to travel through them are through the doorways that open every so often throughout the day.
There is no sun, in these cubes, although they have all each developed their own natural habitats, like a million different greenhouses. Each created for a different purpose.
Women control most societies, although there are few male-driven societies out there.
Men are more like cattle, meant only for breeding. Given the illusion of freewill. Even though they aren't slaves, men are watched very carefully by the woman guards.
Tyler Pap changed things in a big way.
Tyler Pap was a disturbed man.
Tyler Pap was created to do evil, evil things.
This is the story of how Tyler Pap killed an invisible elephant and learned how to be free from doing so.
