Updates and....stuff

I'm going to be working on a new experiment [while continuing to write my other stories as well, don'tcha worry]. Since my mind has been very fragmented with ideas, nothing sold enough to form a story around, I'm thinking about using that to write a story. It'd be similar to Naked Lunch, in that the topics and stories seems to blend almost effortlessly into one another. So expect this new experiment to be rather confusing most of the time. Just a forewarning to anyone leaving comments on that experiment, I won't know what the hell else is going on in the posts, so just give me an interpretation. Thanks!
So my newest obsession is a manga called Pastel. Its pretty cliche even for it's genre, but I still love it, nonetheless. So once I'm done reading that one, I have about twenty chapters to go, so probably another week or so, I'll begin writing the Mutants story. I'm currently running through scenarios, and really pushing what they would be able to do with their powers to the limits. I hope you all enjoy it, and I hope it's different from SFG but still manages to keep the light-heartedness of the first season.
For those of you wondering about Throwing Pearls to the Pig, the idea has actually been with me for a while, but originally I wanted it to be more of a buddy story. It was originally about a demon who hunted rogue ghosts or demons or other fantastical creatures, all the while still trying to maintain a social life and a school life. He was then suppose to meet a girl who was part of the video club in school [a girl always carrying a video camera] who would try filming him exorcising demons and such. Because we all know video cameras can record ghosts and stuff, so it made sense to me. ^_^ I really enjoyed the idea of that story and saw tons of potential, but then I started writing SFG and didn't want all my stories to take place in high school with badasses trying to live a normal life, while being accompanied by none-badasses. So I dropped the idea and started thinking of ways to make it more mature and more of a drama, the way The Rabbit's Foot and Nightmare Stare were. I'm really proud of those two stories. So my idea [without destroying too much of the plot here] is of a Grim falling in love with an ordinary human girl. And see, I used the idea of sacrificing something to find true love, but since I don't really like Customer Service, I feel it's okay to take my few good ideas from it, and put them towards something better. So you have a Grim who was once human, falling in love with a girl, and since I'm writing it, and I have that warped view of love, I have to make it hard for the two of them. All of you reading this outta know that the warning, "No good will come of this" should not be taken lightly.
I didn't want to do as much first person narration in this one, in the sense that I don't want the Grim to say "I kill people and deliver their souls to heaven or hell, blah blah blah." I'd rather it be more organic, but of course, if there just isn't a way around it, he'll explain things. I'll try not to keep the readers in the dark as much as my other dramas, mainly because this story isn't about not knowing, its about self-sacrifice, as lame as that sounds. So I'll try and get you all in the world as quickly as I can, while still keeping it organic. There will be epic fights in this story as well, I'm not sure how many, don't expect too many, but there will be probably just as much action as Nightmare Stare, maybe a little bit more. But this is no SFG or Six Bullets. I really feel that the title, Throwing Pearls to the Pigs sums up the feeling of the story, at least how it is in my head, and I'm going to try and stay with that feeling throughout the two main characters' relationship.
I'm sorry to just cut everyone off on that note, but it's 3:14am and I'm starting to feel tired, so I'm going to go to bed.
Sleep well, world!
Be safe, everyone!
And if there's anyone out there who can teach me to draw, PLEASE DO!!!
