Dead Eyes

wIth eyes as dead as yours it's no wonder why we're here,
when I purged My inSides up did thOse eyes even see?
oR was theiR gaze too hungrY to NotIce?

they devoured everything, but still Knew they needed more,
and just liKe any good glutton,
moved on to another crop.

It doesn't seem to matter anymore,
the crowd of dead eyes wanted to see the monster,
they wanted to see what made hIm faLl apart.

the harsh tOngues and their serrated words,
have left this all as one VEry big clusterfuck,
that will be swept under the rug and ignored.

it was a just a game, it seems.
the left side of a book against the right,
written in a perforated language no one understands.

with eYes as dead as mine it's nO wonder why we're here,
they have dried Up from the cold,
maybe one day, you'll warm them up again?
